Christine Horne is an actor, bird-watcher, walk-taker, and mother. Born and raised in Aurora‎, Ontario, she now splits her time between Toronto and the Northumberland Hills.

Christine made her feature film debut in the 2007 adaptation of The Stone Angel, sharing the lead role with Academy Award winner Ellen Burstyn.

Other film and television credits include The Go-Getters, Hyena Road, How To Plan An Orgy In A Small Town, The Captive, Sex After Kids, Tru Love, Stories We Tell, Entangled, We Wanted More, The Untitled Work of Paul Shepard, Othello, Lost Girl, Murdoch Mysteries, Saving Hope, Remedy, Dark Matter, Republic of Doyle, Rookie Blue, King, and Played. She also works extensively in the theatre with stage credits including the title role in Prince Hamlet, Iceland (WhyNot Theatre), CamBaby (Toronto Fringe), The Road to Paradise (Human Cargo/Crow’s), Tom At The Farm (Buddies), The Seagull (Crow’s), Belleville (Company Theatre), Farther West (Soulpepper), Between the Sheets (Nightwood), The Great Gatsby (The Grand), Andromache (Necessary Angel), Romeo and Juliet (Canadian Stage), The Turn of the Screw (DVxT), Miss Julie: Sheh’mah (KICK Theatre), Twelfth Night (Resurgence), Bluebeard (Toronto Fringe), and Gorey Story (Thistle Project).
